This extraordinary talent he has been blessed with has taken him to play venues across Texas, Europe and New Mexico. 

It wasn’t until his late 20’s, along with his love for music, Derrick discovered a new passion…cooking with smoke and fire, and an undeniable love for meat. His skill has transcended beyond music and rolled into the world of BBQ. His flavors combine Texas, with a little New Mexico twist and incorporate seasonings, spices and sauces from other regions well known for their BBQ.
